A couple of key features you\u2019ll love about folders:<\/p>\n

- You can add multiple collaborators to a folder to work together, just like you can on projects<\/li>\n
- A single project can be in multiple folders (great for internal organisation and external presentation)<\/li>\n
- Folders have share links just like projects<\/li>\n
- Folders can be visible to the rest of your team or made invite-only<\/li>\n
- You can view folders you\u2019re working on and ones created by your entire team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Now you know a little bit about folders, here\u2019s a few ways to use them that might inspire how you organise your work in Marvel.<\/p>\n
Organise work and features<\/h2>\n
Unsurprisingly, the most common use-case for folders is to organise work. As your Marvel account grows, you\u2019ll likely find the need to separate out different projects based on features, products, platforms and more.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n

- Select \u2018Create Folder\u2019<\/a> and name your folders based on how you want to organise, for example \u2018iOS app\u2019<\/b>, \u2018Web Platform\u2019 <\/b>or process driven such as \u2018For review<\/b>\u2019, \u2018Approved\u2019<\/b> etc.<\/li>\n
- Select \u2018Add projects\u2019<\/b> to add an existing project into the folder<\/li>\n
- Click \u2018Invite or share\u2019<\/b> and invite your team or stakeholders to collaborate and give them access.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

<\/p>\nOrganise your client work<\/h2>\n
If you work with several clients, then folders are a great way to organise work across your workspace but also give each client their own dedicated area to review work and activity related to them.<\/p>\n
One of the biggest benefits is that you can share a single link to a folder containing multiple projects. No more tracking dozens of share links across emails and messages, just one place that updates in real-time as your projects get added, removed, updated or approved.<\/p>\n
You can also invite clients to collaborate with you on the contents of a folder, such as managing the content, add comments, reviewing work and even contributing ideas such as sketches<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nOrganising the work of different teams and departments<\/h2>\n
If you work in a large organisation with several teams and departments involved in the product process, folders is a great way to compartmentalise everyone and keep their work easy to find and manage.<\/p>\n
For example if you have departments for Product, Research and Marketing, each could have their own folder containing their work. This gives each person in that department their own silo to work from, meaning faster access to projects but it also makes it super simple for managers or anyone else to find, review and manage projects.<\/p>\n
